What is SetAcademy?
SetAcademy is an all-in-one platform that combines training management (scheduling, attendance, rooms) and online training with integrated monetization. Perfect for independent instructors, businesses, training centers, and organizations.
How long to create my first course?
On average 10 minutes. Use a template or create from scratch. No technical skills needed. The interface is intuitive and guided.
Can I try before paying?
Yes, the Free plan lets you create 1 course and test all features. No credit card required. You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Transparent pricing displayed on the pricing page. Only platform fees on sales vary by plan (15% Free, 10% Starter, 5% Pro, 0% Business).

Can I change plans later?
Yes, anytime. Instant upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard. Your data is preserved when changing plans.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
You'll receive a notification to upgrade. You can continue using SetAcademy, but some features will be limited until you upgrade.
Are prices in CHF, EUR, or USD?
SetAcademy supports all three currencies (CHF, EUR, USD). Prices adapt automatically based on your location and Stripe account.
Is there a commitment?
No commitment. Cancel your subscription anytime. Your courses remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation.
Features
Can I create free AND paid public courses?
Yes! Free public courses serve as lead magnets to attract students. Paid courses generate revenue with integrated Stripe payment.
How do quizzes and certifications work?
Create quizzes with multiple choice, true/false, or free text questions. Scoring is automatic. After course completion and quiz passing, a PDF certification is generated automatically.
Can I manage multiple academies with one account?
Yes, it's one of SetAcademy's strengths. One user can administer multiple academies with different roles in each.
Are online courses self-paced?
Yes, online courses are on-demand (self-paced). Students progress at their own pace with ordered modules and progress bars.
Payments & Monetization
How does Stripe payment work?
Stripe is integrated directly in SetAcademy. Set up your bank account once, then create paid courses. Payments are processed automatically and funds arrive in your Stripe account.
What are the fees on sales?
Platform fees depend on your plan: 15% on Free, 10% on Starter, 5% on Pro, 0% on Business. These fees are transparent and displayed before each sale.
Can I offer discounts or promo codes?
Yes, with Starter and Business plans, you can create Stripe coupons to offer discounts (percentage or fixed amount) on your paid courses.
When will I receive my payments?
Stripe payments are processed according to your Stripe account timeline (usually 2-7 business days). SetAcademy does not hold any additional amount.

What if I'm not satisfied?
Cancel anytime. No commitment. Your courses remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation. We're always open to your feedback to improve the platform.

Is there documentation?
Yes, the API is documented with Swagger accessible from your dashboard. Complete user documentation is being written.
